How much we love to walk under this arch. There is a plaque with a legend that recalls the capture of the city by Sancho IV el Bravo in which you can read:
“MUY NOBLE, MUY LEAL Y HEROICA CIUDAD DE TARIFA GANADA A LOS MOROS REINANDO SANCHO IV EL BRAVO, EL 21 DE SEPTIEMBRE DE 1292”
